Banner...Bruce Banner

Okay, I promise, I'll lay off the banners. I write a big ol' entry bitching about other people's constant banner use, and then there I go, bannering it up. They're addictive!

On another banner note, I think one of my banners got rejected. This kind of upsets me because if it did indeed get rejected, it's because of Andrew's personal agenda. It's not offensive, it's not sexual, and it's not violent. It just pokes gentle fun at someone Andrew has on his faves list.

And I don't really think that's fair. There is a warning when you submit banners that reads as follows:

Please remember that banners must be appropriate to a site with young people using it. We have been lax on this for a while, but too many people have pushed it a little too far and then gotten mad when their banners aren't approved and argued that other banners running are just as bad, etc., etc. So as of right now, we are officially being stringent on banner content, and banners that fall into certain categories will be declined. Things like:
- nudity
- violence / gore
- strong sexual content
- swearing

That banner doesn't fall into ANY of those categories. I don't see "You have to be nice to Leslie Irene" on there anywhere, so according to Andrew's own rules, the banner ought to be approved. I'll be waiting for my approval and my apology.
